Establishment of National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) by NARO statute 1992 as a semi-autonomous institution and a body corporate; thus consolidation research in crops, livestock, fisheries and forestry under one institution

Reconstitution of the National Agriculture Research Systems (NARS) under the umbrella of a new NARO.
CONSTRUCTION OF SCREEN HOUSES AND GREEN HOUSES
The Government of Uganda through National Agricultural Research Organization allocated funds for Construction of Screen Houses and Green Houses.

Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act) Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all eligible bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the email provided below at 9(a) from 9 am to 4 pm.
One bidding document comprising of all the Nine (9) lots is prepared in English language and may be purchased by interested bidders at the email address mentioned at 9(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through a convenient commercial bank by obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(c) at or before 11:00 am on 19th February 2026.
