NARO Prequalified List (Category A: Supplies, Category B: Services, Category C: Civil works)

It has come to our attention that unscrupulous individuals are impersonating officials from the National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO) Procurement and Disposal Unit. These fraudsters are contacting Service Providers and falsely claiming that NARO is finalizing an evaluation list. They demand money from Service Providers in exchange for being included on the list of pre-qualified firms.
NARO strongly condemns these fraudulent activities and categorically states that our procurement processes are conducted in strict adherence to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) regulations. At no point does NARO solicit payments from service providers for pre-qualification or any other procurement-related processes.
We wish to clarify that NARO has already concluded the process of pre-qualifying firms for the period 2025/2028, and the official list of pre-qualified Service Providers is now available on the NARO website ( www.naro.go.ug ). Any claims suggesting otherwise are false and should be disregarded.
We urge all stakeholders to remain vigilant and report any suspicious calls or requests to NARO through our official communication channels.
