Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institutes (ZARDIs)
NARO has sixteen Public Agricultural Research Institutes under its supervision; seven (7) of these are known as National Agricultural Research Institutes and conduct research of national strategic importance and nine (9) of these are Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institutes conducting adaptive research in the nine agro-ecological zones of Uganda.
